Butter London Goodies

I have recently become a little obsessed with Butter London products! There are some really fun beauty products to play with this season- especially if you like a little glitz and glam. The nail varnishes are definitely one to keep your eyes on and I have already got my paws on a couple of glittery shades to glam up my day and night looks up. Plus I think everyone needs some form of sparkle in their life.

I am loving the glitter shades out at the moment and currently I have been a little naughty and brought a new bottle in the shade "Henley Regatta" (shown above and below). After three coats you will have a strong glittery green/blue colour. I think the shade reminds me of a mermaids tail sparkling in the sea and I adore it.

One thing I can say with Butter London nail polishes is that they dry really quickly, which is perfect for myself as I am always on the go and end up smudging my nails because I am too impatient to wait for them to dry. Due to rushing around in a fluster with my nails, they tend to be a little slap dashed but with the small nail brush it makes it much easier to get a neat, smooth finish.

Take a peak below at a quick trial run I did at the Love Hair salon in Broadway which is my local stockist. Please note that this was a tester on the colour so my manicure is not done to perfection as you can see.

My other favourite picks out of the collection was the tinted balm lipsticks. It was really hard to choose with the amount of sheer choice on offer. My first lipstick in shade "Mush" is a beauty must for all. It compliments any skin tone and is the perfect grab and go lippy. If you are feeling a little under the weather or maybe had a heavy night beforehand, then this is a great colour to pep you up and help you to look effortlessly cool and chic. This is a good matte lipstick that slides on almost like a balm - hence the title I guess, which makes for perfect application.

My next choice which is my personal favourite, is the tinted lip balm in "Black Cherry". I always love a good dark lippy and this certainly makes the cut. The colour is perfect for this time of year as we are now sadly into Fall, however this warm berry red will cheer you up on a cold day. I love how vampy it looks against my skin tone without looking too much like Morticia Adams. Again this goes on easily and the colour does not bleed and look smudgy, so you can go without the lip liner on this one, if you are finding yourself pushed for time. Simply give your lips a slight tint with one application, or build up a couple more coats for a deeper burst of cherry, come and bite me lips.

You can see a few colour samples of the Butter London lippy tinted balms below.
