Is a bad hair day now just a myth???

Currently I have 3 hair salons under my belt that I like to visit, for different purposes. One of these that I use most frequently for my cut and colour is Graham West hair design, based in Fladbury.

This is my long term hair salon, that I have used for 4 years now. I always love going to pay a visit as the staff are amazingly friendly and treat everyone like royalty, with a warming greeting as soon as you walk through the door. You get a lovely sense of family there between the staff and clients.

Settled in the luxurious dressing rooms, nestled into the quaint quiet countryside on the outskirts of Evesham in Fladbury, I know I am in for a treat. The industrial park where it is located, is also very sweet if you have the time to have a nosy around;with antique stores for little treasures or music rooms if you're particularly creative.

Trying not to blow my own trumpet here but other than my hair always looking gorgeous when I leave, my other love for this salon is that they use Aveda products.

Aveda use the science of pure flower and plant extracts in all of their products, containing essential oils.

One of my favourite discoveries, advised to me by my hair dresser (and I am so glad she did) was a leave in treatment oil called dry- remedy, daily moisturising oil. It comes in a cute little brown, glass bottle and although this doesn't look like it will last you a week let alone the month, you are wrong! I have used this for 6 months now and I am just about to crack into my second bottle. I use mine every other day on my ends and when I wash my hair, which is about twice a week. You only need 2-3 drops depending on your hair length- no more, so it should last you around 3 months. This little cutie packs a punch as well; containing buriti oil which will leave you with a silky shiny mane.

I can hand on heart say the results are astonishing, helping to prevent split ends and promoting hair growth (my hair has grown 4 inches in the past 5/6 months). Your hair will feel silky and soft as soon as you apply it. Well it does say on the box that it instantly moisturises dry and brittle ends by 41%.

For £19.50 from your nearest Aveda salon I would say that is a bloomin' good bargain.

Now with this mythical oil, bad hair days may now be the myth in return.
