I just wanted to give you a little insight into a small piece of my home.
I live in a tiny village called Condicote where it is in the middle of nowhere within the Cotswolds. I do love it here, although sometimes in bad winters it has it's disadvantages. In the summer it always reminds me of parts of France, with the vast amounts of green fields and flowers.
On this particular day though I came home from work and thought I would have a nice bath and start to relax for the evening. I ended up being convinced to go straight out to forage for blackberries whilst there was available light. I am really glad I did, it was such a beautiful evening. For a nice stress free ramble, I did stumble upon a huge dead rat in my path that I almost stepped on. That put a fright into me for the duration of walking in that field that evening (although being a country bumpkin one should be used to these kinds of situations).
I went out for around an hour before the warm Indian summer sun started to set and managed to collect a very small amount of blackberries. Yes it did look a slightly pathetic attempt but it was enough to make some very scrummy blackberry muffins though.
I thought I would share some of the glorious views I am lucky to have round the corner from my home and what a joy it really is to be a country bumpkin in Condicote! If you enjoy a good ramble with beautiful picturesque scenery this is a visit highly recommended!
