Welcome to 2016, already we have been hearing new year, new me. I am sure I am not standing alone, when I say I was lucky enough to eat my body weight multiple times this festive period. Not to mention the amount of cocktails and champagne that was consumed. So we thought as of the first of January, start as we mean to go on. Therefore we have compiled a list of our favourite smoothies, that will help cleanse, detox and help your general overall health. These will help improve your skin, not to mention help you on the inside by giving your immune systems a boost. Do not be put off by colour, these really do taste delicious!
What you will need:
Blender/Nutri-Bullet/Blend Active
Fruit (ingredients are listed with each recipe)
Almond Milk of your choice. (Original is a favourite)
Coconut water
Recipe One: Cleansing Blast
2 handfuls of spinach
1 pear
1 banana
1 apple
1 cup pineapple
10 Walnutts
Fill to max line with coconut water.
Recipe Two: Antioxidant
1/2 cup spinach
1 banana
1 cup blueberries
Dash of cinnamon
Fill to max line with almond milk
Recipe Three: Immune Boost
1 handful of spinach
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1/2 cup carrots
1/4 inch tumeric
1/2 inch ginger root
1/2 lemon juiced
1 orange juiced
1 cup water
1 tbsp hemp seed
Recipe Four: The Booster
2 handfuls kale
1/2 peach
1/2 cup strawberries
1/2 Avocado
10 walnut halves
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp goji berries
Fill to max line with water
Recipe 5: Yolo - You only live once or forever
2 handfuls spinach
1/2 cup red grapes
1/2 cup raspberries
10 almonds
Recipe 6: What weight, weight blaster
2 handfuls kale
1/2 peach
1 cup blueberries
1/2 cucumber
1 tbsp flax seeds
1 tbsp chia seeds
Fill to max with coconut water
Recipe 7: The easy cleanser
2 handfuls spinach
1/2 cup kale
1/4 cucumber
Cup of green grapes
1 Apple
Fill to max line with water
